About Us

At Guru Pet Supply, our story has never really been about products. It has always been about the animals who changed our lives.

For years, our home has been filled with muddy paws, wagging tails, barking greetings, and the quiet comfort that only animals can bring. We learned early on that pets are never “just pets.” They are family members, loyal companions, comic relief after long days, and often the heart of a home.

One of the most important parts of our journey was our beloved Beagle, Mateo. Mateo taught us what unconditional love truly looks like. Through every stage of his life, we focused on giving him comfort, happiness, adventure, and the best care possible until the day he passed. He left paw prints on our hearts that will never fade, and his memory continues to inspire everything we do.

Today, our two Golden Retrievers enjoy life the way every dog should — with room to run, explore, and simply be dogs. Our three-acre home is their playground, where they chase each other through the yard, soak up sunny afternoons, and remind us daily how much joy animals bring into our lives.

Our love for animals has never stopped with our own pets. Over the years, we have worked to rescue stray cats throughout the Kansas City area, making sure each one had food, warmth, safety, and a chance to find a loving forever home. Every animal deserves comfort, kindness, and a place where they feel safe.

That same belief led us to foster dozens of dogs across Kansas City over several years. Some stayed only a short time, while others needed extra patience and care before finding their families. Every foster taught us something about resilience, trust, and the incredible bond between people and animals.

In the Fall of 2025, one foster became family forever. Luna, our sweet 10-year-old German Shepherd, stole our hearts. She loves meeting other dogs at the dog park, zooming around the yard with surprising speed, and greeting every new person like an old friend. Luna reminds us every day that age is just a number and that every dog deserves love, comfort, and a second chance.

Our journey with animals has always started with the unconditional love they give us. In return, we believe they deserve a place to call home, a full belly, a comfortable bed, and quality products that help them feel safe, happy, and loved.
